The Colophon shows an erasure where the date was written ; probably tO ,/ Dp, i.e. 1428 was originally there, and indeed the MS. shows traces of all the three letters. The date, Thursday the 18th Heshwan, 5189 = 1428, is consistent with other colophons written by the same scribe, Isaac of Pisa, in the same Codex, notably with one which is dated Monday 20th Tebet, 5189—two months later. Mr. E. N. Adler suggests that the name of the itinerary was ynv poo, not inappropriate to a description of travels, having regard to the passage in Ps. ciii. 7, von ynv. The full name of the scribe is dtoq rTnooo nD'DO 'n©’ pnx\
